Husband, father, child of the King of glory, and Founding Pastor / Lead Shepherd of Southpointe Community Church
The Ballard family moved to Nolensville in July, 2010 to partner with a small group of visionaries and plant Southpointe Community Church. Matt previously served on the staff of Perimeter Church in Atlanta as a preaching pastor and lead their ministry to singles and families in the 22-40 age range. Before that he was on the staff of First Presbyterian Church in Augusta, GA as the pastor to Single Adults.
Matt and his wife, Chrissy, have three daughters. In his spare time, Matt enjoys history, stuff that makes horsepower (cars, motorcycles, and aircraft), and stuff that blows up. He loves spending time with family and friends, opening the Bible with others and discovering together the wonder of Jesus.
Our topic this fall is forgiveness. Most of us struggle with believing in God’s love for us and because of that we have a hard time extending and accepting forgiveness freely and because of that we have little to no energy and holy spirit motivation to pursue the kingdom of God. So come all you who are weary of your unbelief, and be encouraged in the gospel of the kingdom by being reminded of our forgiveness and the desperate need to extend that to others.
